Thelocalshack - Lunch by the beach Perth
If you are in Perth just to visit this
beautiful city or come with family to enjoy your holidays, here we have
gathered the top Sorrento
Quay restaurants.
CBlu:
A hotspot of Marine Parade, CBlu is the restaurant at Cottesloe's Ocean Beach
Hotel. Also, it is best for takeaway
Mandurah. The menu offers hearty pub fare with flashes of bold
flavor options; Start with a plate of tapas, like mushrooms and cheese arancini
with garlic aioli or bourbon-glazed ribs and buffalo wings, before moving on to
their delicious entrees.
Depending on your appetite, we recommend the shredded veal cutlet (served with
mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and candied tomatoes), the mussels
(tossed in garlic, chives, chili, and Neapolitan sauce), or the shrimp and
prawn salad (with prawns, crispy polenta, avocado, Parmigiano Reggiano and pine
nuts).
The Kiosk Floreat Beach:
This is another one of the best Scarborough
Beach restaurants. 20 minutes from Perth's financial district, in
a cozy corner of City Beach that is sheltered from ocean breezes. The Kiosk
Floreat Beach offers much more than what guests might expect at first glance.
Diners have the option of eat-in or take-out (great for beach picnics) and can
continue their meal by exploring the Floreat Beach Surf Lifting club,
volleyball area, and mile-long stretch of sand.
Fresh seafood dishes are what The Kiosk does best, and we especially recommend
the fish and chips, squid and crispy squid. There is also a delicious beach
party for two: a platter of squid, mussels, prawns, grilled or fried fish,
tartar sauce, lemon, salad, and chips.
Indiana Cottesloe Beach:
Indiana is the best dinner
Hillarys spot as it enjoys an iconic reputation as a Western
Australian landmark on the pristine Cottesloe Beach. Today Indiana grew out of
the former Indiana Tea House, a humble ice cream parlor built-in 1910 that
served "The Cott" revelers from a small cabin-like facility.
Today, they still offer the same life-affirming views of the Indian Ocean and
Rottnest Island distant from every table, and this new multipurpose venue leads
a double life as a laid-back beach bistro and exclusive function facility.
The Blue Duck:
A community favorite, The Blue Duck is an elegant dining destination in
Cottesloe with an ocean deck, warm professional service, and an honest
contemporary Australian menu inspired by the flavor of chef James Western.
Between the great food and the lively social atmosphere, this is a place that
is sure to impress.
